From Friday, July 26th to Sunday, July 28th, Watkins Glen International in New York will host the highly anticipated Finger Lakes Wine Festival. This year’s event promises a rich tapestry of experiences for wine enthusiasts and foodies alike.
Featuring over 90 acclaimed New York State wineries and artisan food vendors, attendees can indulge in immersive wine tastings paired with gourmet dishes. Educational wine seminars, paint and sip sessions led by FLX Sip & Paint, and a breakfast buffet inside the Jack Daniel’s Club will enrich the experience. The festival kicks off on Friday night with Launch of the Lakes, featuring toga and costume contests, wine samples, live music, and fireworks.
Beyond the culinary delights, the festival offers a variety of activities. Attendees can begin each day with an hour-long sunrise yoga session, enjoy rides in pace cars, witness ice-carving demonstrations by Ice Farm, participate in games, giveaways, and photo ops, and enjoy live music performances. The musical headliner this year is Steeln’ Peaches, an Allman Brothers tribute band.

Throughout the weekend, an array of concession stands, food trucks, and local vendors will cater to every palate, offering everything from artisanal pizzas to organic burgers and refreshing pasta salads, ensuring there’s something to complement the Finger Lakes wines on offer.
Tickets are available for purchase online in advance. One-day admission starts at $55, two-day passes are available from $60, and additional experiences are also on offer. All participants must be 21 years or older.
