The RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing is scheduled for April 13–19 at Harbour Town Golf Links in Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island. The week is a spring fixture on the PGA TOUR calendar.

What the event is known for starts with the venue. Harbour Town is a Pete Dye design with Jack Nicklaus as design consultant, and its finish is one of the TOUR’s most photographed—the 18th green framed by the Harbour Town Lighthouse. The course involves tighter fairways, positional golf, and a closing stretch that keeps the walk-and-watch experience focused on angles and execution.

Tournament week is also easy to read as a destination weekend. The slower pace on the island pairs naturally with an event that draws big crowds.

From a spectator standpoint, the simplest way to experience the week is to split time between movement and a fixed vantage point: an earlier loop to see different holes and groups up close, followed by a longer stretch posted near the closing holes as the day’s leaderboard takes shape.

To make a weekend of it, start with a morning ride on the island’s paths or an early beach walk, then head into Sea Pines for an afternoon round of viewing. Afterward, have dinner in Harbour Town or a quieter spot nearby, and then return the next day for more golf that feels different once the weekend pressure is on.
