The LA Art Show will celebrate its 30th anniversary from February 19th to 23rd at the Los Angeles Convention Center’s South Hall. As one of the largest and most prestigious art fairs in the United States, the event remains a dynamic hub for creativity, cultural exchange, and artistic innovation. The Opening Night Premiere, scheduled for February 19th at 6:00 p.m., offers attendees an exclusive first look at this year’s extraordinary lineup while supporting the American Heart Association.
The LA Art Show debuted in 1994 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, establishing itself as a cornerstone of the West Coast art scene. Over the years, it moved to notable venues (including UCLA’s John Wooden Center and Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar) before finding a permanent home at the Los Angeles Convention Center in 2009. Evolving into a global platform for modern and contemporary art, the show also highlights historical masterpieces, bridging the past and present of artistic excellence.
In 2012, the Palm Beach Show Group acquired the LA Art Show, enhancing its profile and expanding its reach within the global art community. In 2020, Kassandra Voyagis assumed leadership as producer and director, guiding the event through the challenges of the pandemic. Despite a brief hiatus, the LA Art Show returned in July 2021 with widespread acclaim, earning a Certificate of Recognition from Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.

After a remarkable 2024 event, the LA Art Show gears up for another inspiring edition in 2025. Some of last year’s standout galleries—such as LICHT FELD, Fremin Gallery, Markowicz Fine Art, and Bel-Air Fine Art—have committed to participating in this year’s show as well. Let’s take a closer look at these exceptional galleries:
LICHT FELD Gallery: From the cultural heart of Basel, Switzerland, LICHT FELD Gallery exemplifies modern and contemporary artistry, showcasing a diverse range of paintings, sculptures, installations, and video art. Renowned for fostering connections between emerging and established artists and the international art world, the gallery consistently delivers innovative and thought-provoking works.
Fremin Gallery: Based in New York City, Fremin Gallery is celebrated for its masterful exploration of identity, architecture, and spirituality. Through meticulously curated exhibitions, the gallery presents photography and other media that transcend mere imagery, offering a profound and visually arresting narrative.
Markowicz Fine Art & Bel-Air Fine Art: The collaboration between Markowicz Fine Art in Miami and Bel-Air Fine Art—known globally in cities like Paris and London—represents a seamless blend of artistic prestige and innovation. From iconic works of Andy Warhol to the avant-garde creations of Alain Godon, their exhibitions showcase a breadth of modern and contemporary art, offering collectors and connoisseurs unparalleled experiences.
The show’s DIVERSEartLA program presents a cutting-edge exploration of themes such as memory, humanity, and artificial intelligence. Featuring AI-generated art, virtual reality installations, and other immersive experiences, this exhibit challenges visitors to reflect on the intersection of technology and humanity, raising critical questions about privacy, bias, and the preservation of cultural memory.
