Woodstock Film Festival

Woodstock, NY

Upstate New York will host the 25th Woodstock Film Festival from Tuesday, October 15th, to Sunday, October 20th. Founded in 2000, this annual non-profit festival celebrates the creative works of filmmakers at all levels through educational programs, mentorship opportunities, and a commitment to cultural diversity. At its core, the festival aims to uplift independent creatives and showcase cinematic artistry that pushes boundaries.

With decades of experience promoting filmmakers and artists, the Woodstock Film Festival is now recognized as one of the world’s premier regional film events. It has earned its place among Oscar-qualifying events across several categories, including Animated Short Film, Live Action Short Film, and Documentary Short Film.

This year’s festival features a star-studded lineup of films from around the world, showcasing both emerging and established filmmakers. Attendees can look forward to how-to workshops, concerts, panel discussions, and more.
