The Edmonds Arts Festival stands as one of the Pacific Northwest’s longest-running and most prestigious cultural events, transforming the charming coastal city of Edmonds, Washington, into a vibrant celebration of artistic expression. Over the years, this festival has grown from a small community gathering into a nationally recognized arts showcase that draws thousands of visitors annually to the picturesque Frances Anderson Center and its surrounding grounds.

What sets the Edmonds Arts Festival apart is its unique blend of professional artistry and community engagement. Unlike many commercial art shows, this festival maintains its roots as a non-profit event, with proceeds supporting arts education and cultural programs throughout the year. The festival has earned its reputation as one of the region’s most respected juried art shows, attracting top-tier artists from across the country while maintaining strong ties to the local creative community.

The 2025 edition, scheduled for June 13-15, promises to be particularly special as it introduces several innovative elements to its traditional format. This year’s festival will feature an expanded outdoor sculpture garden, showcasing monumental works against the backdrop of Puget Sound views. The festival has also partnered with leading Pacific Northwest galleries to curate special exhibitions highlighting emerging Indigenous artists and contemporary digital art installations.

Festival attendees can immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of artistic experiences. The festival showcases hundreds of painters, sculptors, photographers, and jewelers, along with a juried gallery exhibition featuring over numerous pieces, including paintings, photography, and mixed media works. The outdoor artist marketplace will feature booths where artists personally present their creations, ranging from fine jewelry and ceramics to glass art and textile works. Also, the Celebrate the Arts Party, on June 11, will offer art enthusiasts first access to available works in an elegant setting with drinks, cuisine, and live music.

General admission is free, though donations are welcomed to support the festival’s educational programs. For additional information about special events, artist listings, or to purchase Celebrate the Arts Party tickets, visitors can explore EdmondsArtsFestival.com.
