At a newly built residence along West Palm Beach’s South Flagler Drive, Poltrona Frau’s involvement extends beyond furniture. Affiniti Architects designed the three-level property, with interiors by Hilary Musser Homes. Musser collaborated with the Italian company on room-specific installations and furnishings drawn from its residential collections.

Poltrona Frau also has a longstanding presence in automotive design. In 1996, the F355 became the first Ferrari to feature an interior made by the company. At the West Palm Beach residence, that expertise is translated to a residential setting.

Poltrona Frau’s role is most apparent in the main kitchen. Fior di Pesco marble is paired with natural walnut, burnished brass, and leather detailing, while service spaces are kept out of sight behind doors incorporated into the rear cabinetry. Those doors lead to a separate stainless-steel chef’s kitchen and additional service areas.

The marble continues into the adjacent coffee and bar spaces. Nearby, a refrigerated wine cellar combines maple surfaces with leather-covered shelving and individual bottle compartments.

Other Italian brands contribute to the interiors. Garofoli supplied white oak doors, while Florim tile, Fantini fixtures, Italian stone, and custom lighting appear across the residence. In the private cinema, Poltrona Frau’s Pillow Cinema seats are joined by paneled walls and carpeting designed specifically for the room.

The primary suite spans more than 2,000 square feet, with two bathrooms, two fitted closets, a spa, and separate places for reading and relaxing. Poltrona Frau’s Volare bed is accompanied by furnishings from several of the company’s collections. The closet systems incorporate an integrated safe, leather accents, and a steam-ironing station.

The remaining bedrooms continue the material palette through private bathrooms, walk-in closets, and individually selected furnishings. The home is being offered with its furniture, allowing the interiors to remain largely as they were conceived.

The property encompasses more than 13,000 square feet across three levels, including over 11,000 square feet of enclosed living space. Its position along the Intracoastal provides 144 feet of waterfront and 100 feet of deep-water dockage.

Rather than placing the pool at ground level, the design situates the pool and spa on the second story, where they overlook the water and Palm Beach Island. Terraces, outdoor dining and cooking areas, a cocktail bar, and a fire pit create several ways to use the waterfront setting. The gym also faces the Intracoastal and can function separately from the main home.

Musser developed the home with Seagate Capital Construction as general contractor. Portions of its construction were documented on Netflix’s eight-episode series Members Only: Palm Beach, in which Musser appears.

The residence at 6315 South Flagler Drive, especially distinctive for the range of rooms Poltrona Frau helped create, is co-listed for $42.5 million by Hilary Musser and Fredrik Eklund of Douglas Elliman.
