As of January this year, the median home sale price in Sarasota was $535,000, exceeding the national average by 19%. 

Typically, homes remain on the market for 38 days, but those in high demand can enter pending status within just five days. Although Sarasota’s real estate market is fairly competitive, it’s not uncommon for homes to attract multiple offers. 

While these stats might suggest a seller’s market, Norada Real Estate Investments reported in late January that the average home sells below the asking rate, tipping the scale in favor of buyers. Moving forward, it’s reasonable to expect that homebuyers seeking an upscale and comfortable lifestyle will continue to view Sarasota as an attractive destination.
