New York City is one of the world’s most prominent artistic capitals, home to internationally renowned museums, innovative galleries, and a vibrant community of emerging and established artists. Among the premier art events held annually in the city is TEFAF New York—The European Fine Art Fair—which is set to return this spring for its tenth edition.

TEFAF New York will take place from May 9 to May 13 at the Park Avenue Armory, a historic former National Guard facility that has been transformed into one of the city’s most unique cultural venues. The fair is organized by the team behind TEFAF Maastricht, which was founded in 1988 in the Netherlands and has since grown into one of the world’s leading art fairs.

Originally focused on showcasing the depth and excellence of the European art market, TEFAF expanded to New York in 2016, acknowledging the city’s importance as a global hub for collectors, galleries, and art enthusiasts. The New York edition has since become a must-attend event for the international art community.

This year’s fair will feature 91 exhibitors from 13 countries across four continents, including leading galleries from London, Paris, Milan, São Paulo, Seoul, Stockholm, and of course, New York City. Exhibitors will present an outstanding range of modern and contemporary art, jewelry, design, antiquities, and classical works—all of museum quality and available for purchase.

In addition to the exhibitions, TEFAF New York will host a robust slate of curated programming, including panel discussions and expert-led talks. This year’s lineup includes sessions such as “Multigenerational Collecting: Carrying on the Legacy of the Kremer Collection Through Virtual Reality” and “Art and Succession: Collections and the Next Collector.”

The fair will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with closing time at 6:00 p.m. on the final day, May 13. Tickets are available for purchase online, with general admission priced at $60 for a single-day pass, $80 for multi-day access, and $25 for students. Attendance to programming sessions may require separate registration.

For art collectors, industry professionals, and enthusiasts alike, TEFAF New York offers a rare opportunity to explore world-class artworks, connect with leading galleries, and engage in thoughtful discourse on the future of art and collecting.
