The 2026 Milwaukee Boat Show returns to the Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis from January 16–18 and January 21–25, continuing its role as the largest indoor boat show in Wisconsin. With more than 300 boats on display from over 80 manufacturers, the show draws buyers and boating enthusiasts from across the state and surrounding Midwest markets at the height of winter, when planning for the coming season is actively underway.

The floor typically includes everything from aluminum fishing boats and pontoons to ski and wake boats, runabouts, and larger cruisers suited for Lake Michigan. Seeing these models in one continuous indoor environment allows visitors to compare layouts, propulsion options, and construction side by side—something that’s difficult to replicate once the season begins and inventory disperses across marinas and dealerships.

For regional dealers and national manufacturers, the event functions as a primary preseason launch window. New model-year inventory, mid-cycle updates, and redesigned interiors often make their first large public appearance here. For buyers, the timing aligns with early-order windows and seasonal pricing, making January an active moment for both research and commitment.

Beyond the boats, the show also presents the supporting elements of ownership that matter in a cold-weather market: engines and marine electronics, trailers, lifts, docks, storage solutions, safety equipment, and service providers focused on maintenance and winterization.

For many attendees, the event is where lakefront property owners, inland anglers, family recreational boaters, and Lake Michigan cruisers all come to measure what’s new, what’s changed, and what might fit into their plans for the year ahead.
