Over Labor Day Weekend between August 31st and September 1st, Capitol Square will host this year’s Taste of Madison. It will feature live music across three stages, over 80 food vendors, over 25 beverage stands, and other festivities. The event is produced through a collaboration of over 30 local volunteer groups and usually attracts about 275,000 people over the festival’s two days.

Food vendors with businesses in the area will be dispersed throughout Capitol Square, providing a wide variety of cuisines. Everything from ice cream and pretzels to Thai food and Mexican food will be offered, between just one and six dollars per snack or dish. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, visit tasteofmadision.com to see which dishes or snacks are dairy free, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, or nut free. Also, beverage stands will offer a series of wines, seltzers, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks.
