Whether you’re looking to buy in Los Angeles or you’re assessing areas in New York, you could end up having a celebrity neighbor. Some homeowners move into their new havens and realize they have an NBA star living next door. These highly talented professional athletes certainly live well, spending their huge salaries on stunning properties all over the U.S.

On the whole, though, certain locations tend to stand out more than others for professional basketball players. For fans who listen to The Hoop Collective and wager on the NBA Finals after looking at the latest betting lines, they’ve seen their heroes in local eateries and driving around in supercars. While many players keep their home lives private, public records and reporting have linked several of the league’s biggest names to standout properties across the country. Below, we highlight just some of them.

LeBron James’ Grand Beverly Hills Estate

LeBron James has plenty of money to play with, given the lucrative deals he’s signed. The Lakers legend purchased a Beverly Hills estate for about $36.8 million in 2020, with Katharine Hepburn among the notable names tied to the estate over the years. Located in one of Los Angeles’ most exclusive enclaves, the Beverly Hills property reflects the scale and prestige often associated with one of basketball’s most recognizable stars.

As a key cog in the Knicks’ wheel, Jalen Brunson is one of the team’s highest earners, and rightly so too. The star performer joined the team in 2022 and has been integral to its notable growth. Brunson has been linked to a house in Ocean City, New Jersey, giving the Knicks standout a Jersey Shore connection outside New York.

Karl-Anthony Towns’ Former Medina Estate Sold for $4.75 Million

Karl-Anthony Towns is a special player on his day. The New York Knicks hero joined the team from the Minnesota Timberwolves in late 2024. Before he left for the Big Apple, though, the Knicks player had to offload his old home in Medina, MN, selling it for $4.75 million in late 2025. With six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, more than 17,000 square feet, indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, a theater room, and other resort-style amenities, the property was sold after a short time on the market.

Steph Curry’s Atherton Mansion

Steph Curry is a legend many NBA fans look up to. As a result of his undeniable natural talent, the Golden State Warriors have strived to tie their star point guard down to a lucrative contract. Curry and his wife, Ayesha, have owned a major home in Atherton, one of Silicon Valley’s most exclusive residential communities. Reported at $30 million, the property includes seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and more than 17,700 square feet.
