The Houston Auto Show and Houston Boat Show returns to NRG Center from January 28 through February 1 (with the auto show beginning on January 28 and the boat show beginning on January 29), once again combining the Houston Auto Show and the Houston Boat Show into a single, large-scale indoor exhibition. The event brings together automotive manufacturers, marine dealers, and regional enthusiasts for five days focused on current vehicle and boat offerings across multiple price points and categories.
The combined format allows visitors to move between automotive and marine exhibits in one continuous setting. On the automotive side, the show features a wide range of current-year vehicles—from sedans, SUVs, and trucks to performance and specialty models—while the boating section includes sport boats, fishing vessels, pontoons, cruisers, and personal watercraft.
Show hours are scheduled to accommodate both weekday and weekend visitors: Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The layout allows for self-paced viewing, with manufacturer representatives and product specialists available throughout the venue to answer questions on features, performance, and ownership considerations.

One of the show’s recurring features is the Ride & Drive experience, which gives attendees the opportunity to test select vehicles on-site. This hands-on component provides a more practical layer to the exhibition, particularly for visitors actively comparing performance, handling, and in-vehicle technology across brands.
The event is fully indoors and benefits from centralized access, structured parking, and proximity to the larger NRG Park complex. General admission is priced at $20, with free entry for children five and under.
