The 3M Open returns to TPC Twin Cities in Blaine this summer, bringing Minnesota’s only PGA TOUR event back to the Twin Cities metro from July 20–26.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is scheduled to make his first appearance at the 3M Open this year. His commitment gives the event one of the strongest player storylines in its recent history and adds another reason for local golf fans to follow the full week, from practice rounds to Sunday’s final round.

The tournament debuted in 2019 and has become a regular summer fixture for Minnesota golf. Past champions include Matthew Wolff, Tony Finau, Lee Hodges, Jhonattan Vegas, and 2025 winner Kurt Kitayama. The City of Blaine notes that the event has an estimated $50 million annual economic impact for the region.

TPC Twin Cities gives the week a course built for spectators as well as players. The par-72, 7,164-yard championship layout was designed by Arnold Palmer with Minnesota native Tom Lehman and previously hosted the PGA TOUR Champions’ 3M Championship before becoming the home of the 3M Open.

The fan schedule starts before tournament play begins. Tuesday includes professional practice rounds and Golf 4 All Day, while Wednesday brings the R.S. Hughes Championship Pro-Am. Competition begins Thursday, July 23, with the final round and champions ceremony scheduled for Sunday, July 26.

The week also reaches beyond the fairways. Fan Village, food activations, hospitality areas, and family programming are scheduled throughout tournament play. Saturday’s Swings & Strings concert featuring Andy Grammer is set for after Round 3, adding a live-entertainment element to one of the busiest days of the event.

For Minnesota, the 3M Open brings national golf attention to the Twin Cities during the height of summer, giving fans a chance to see top players in person without leaving the state.
