The Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard is scheduled for March 2–8 at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando. With competition rounds set for March 5-8, the tournament is one of the PGA TOUR’s Signature Events, drawing a limited field to a course that tends to reward controlled ball-striking, disciplined angles into greens, and conservative decisions when water comes into play.
The event will again run as a 72-player, 72-hole stroke play tournament. Eligibility is tied to PGA TOUR Signature Event criteria, including players who qualify through season-long performance categories and exemptions, with additional access tied to recent results on the TOUR schedule.
Bay Hill has a long-running connection to the tournament. The event has been staged at the club since 1979, and the week remains one of the TOUR’s most established March stops. The course is best known for its late-round stretch, where tee-shot placement and approach precision often matter more than aggressive scoring, particularly as conditions firm up and misses become harder to recover from.

Tournament week begins with Arnie’s Army Legacy Pro-Am presented by Chick-fil-A on Monday, March 2, listed with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start, before the competition rounds begin later in the week.
For visitors, the tournament plays well as a long weekend. Bay Hill sits within easy reach of Winter Park and Orlando’s dining corridors, making it straightforward to pair a round day with an off-course plan that stays local—an early dinner, a quieter second morning, and another pass through the grounds as the leaderboard compresses over the weekend.
